Roulston Scar

Cliff

Description

Limestone cliffs at the southern end of Sutton Park. The path from the visitor centre on Sutton Bank reaches the top of Roulston Scar along the edge of the escarpment.

The path above Roulston Scar provides the best viewpoint from Sutton Bank, adding an impressive southern view to the dramatic western view seen from the visitor centre.

On a good day the view will be enhanced by the gliders based at the glider field on the headland above Roulston Scar. Don't stray off the path here!
